February 23, 2007 Announcement (updated March 1 & 3, 2007)
A few years have passed since there has been a printed publication dedicated to table shuffleboard news. Many have requested that the Table Shuffleboard Association consider a printed/mailed Table Shuffleboard News.  The TSA Board of Directors have taken this suggestion seriously and approved a proposal to have a quarterly printed/mailed newsletter,  (Click to View Letter From TSA President March 3, 2007)

Quarterly (printed/mailed) Newsletter Planned Schedule (mailed to paid-current TSA Associate Members & Sponsors Only)
There will be 3 issues in 2007 and 4 issues in 2008 and thereafter, as detailed below:

*2007 (3 Issues 1st year):  JUNE, SEPTEMBER, DECEMBER
Deadlines for issue content submissions:  (e.g., results, ads, flyers, etc.)
MAY 15th, AUGUST 15th, NOVEMBER 15th, respectively for each issue.

*2008 and subsequent years (4 Issues/year): (e.g., results, ads, flyers, etc.)
MARCH, JUNE, SEPTEMBER, DECEMBER
Deadlines for issue content submissions:  (e.g., results, ads, flyers, etc.)
FEBRUARY 15th, MAY 15th, AUGUST 15th, NOVEMBER 15th, respectively for each issue.

Note: The periodic electronic TSA news sent via email to the TSA website's electronic news subscribers remains free to all and unchanged, but the printed quarterly newsletter will be mailed only to paid-current members and sponsors.  The printed quarterly newsletter will not be publicly posted, published, or distributed electronically (including on the TSA website or any other website). 

Also, take notice of the content submission deadlines above to ensure ads, upcoming events, tournament results, flyers, and etc. are submitted timely to ensure inclusion in the desired issue(s).  For example, a Labor Day 2007 flyer would need to be submitted on/before the May 15th deadline to make it into the JUNE 2007 issue.

TSA Associate Membership and Sponsorship options available (as of February 2007) are described below.  All of the below are annual fees are renewable by January 1st of each year.  The fees are not prorated if one joins or renews their annual Associate Member or Sponsor fees after January 1st each year. In order to advertise or submit tournament results in, and/or receive a copy of the first issue (June 2007 Issue) membership dues and sponsor fees must be paid-current on/before May 15, 2007. 

  1. Associate Member (Individuals) $25/year Associate membership fee of $25/year is unchanged from prior years, but now includes a copy of each quarterly newsletter mailed by the TSA to all paid-current associate members and sponsors.

  2. Shuffleboard Establishment/Business Sponsor (Shuffleboard Establishment/Business) $60/year or $100/year (new as of 2/2007)

    3. • Option 1: $60/year includes a business card sized advertisement for their club or shuffleboard business on the Shuffleboard Sponsor page of each mailed newsletter issue and one copy of each mailed newsletter. Establishment Sponsor must provide logo and/or text for the ad to be designed by the newsletter publishers to fit within the designated space within each newsletter.

    • Option 2: $100/year includes items in Option 1 above plus printed tournament result submissions throughout the year which will include a minimum guarantee of each event’s winner list and a minimum of 1 photo of choice from each event (e.g.., group photo of 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 1st only for instance) for each event in your tournament - # of photos and article length may vary, but each submission is guaranteed a minimum of above.

  3. Major Tournament Sponsor (such as: NASC, SW Open, Houston Holiday Open) $160/year (new as of 2/2007)

    4. includes a business card sized advertisement on the Shuffleboard Sponsor page for their Major Tournament in each issue, one copy of each mailed newsletter issue, and full coverage of one major tournament per year (winners list and photos of each event).
  4. Non-Shuffleboard Business Sponsor (non-shuffleboard business) $60/year (new as of 2/2007) which includes a business card sized advertisement for their business on the sponsor page in each quarterly newsletter issue. Non-Shuffleboard Business Sponsors must provide logo and/or text for the ad to be designed by newsletter publishers to fit within the designated space within each newsletter.
  5. Major Sponsors (shuffleboard businesses such as manufacturers and distributors of shuffleboards and products) $400.00/year (new as of 2/2007) which includes a full page color advertisement in each quarterly issue and one copy of each quarterly newsletter. Ad must be provided in camera ready format.

Major Non-Shuffleboard Sponsors (non-shuffleboard businesses such as manufacturers and distributors of non-shuffleboard products) $400.00/year (new as of 2/2007) which includes a full page color advertisement in each quarterly issue and one copy of each quarterly newsletter. Ad must be provided in camera ready format.

  7. Non-Profit Shuffleboard Leagues and Non-Profit State Organizations (such as the MSPA, PNW HOF, etc.) $60/year includes a business card sized advertisement for their league or organization on the Shuffleboard  Sponsor page of each mailed newsletter issue and one copy of each mailed newsletter. The organization must provide logo and/or text for the ad to be designed by the newsletter publishers to fit within the designated space within each newsletter.

  8. Flyer Inserts:  1-page flyer insert (single-sided, black/black print on white or color paper) $25/each issue; and Additional pages to flyer inserts are $10 per additional page/per issue (e.g.., a 1-page flyer insert cost per newsletter issue is $25; a 2-sided flyer cost is $35; and a 4-page flyer cost is $55).  Flyer inserts are available only to paid-current Sponsors.

  9. TSA "SPONSOR SHIRTS" are available to members, sponsors, and non-members at $45 per item ordered (includes shipping) .  Your can view or order the TSA Sponsor Shirts, Hoodies, and T-Shirts styles on the TSA's new PayPal Shopping Cart at: https://www.tableshuffleboardshop.com and order/pay electronically via the PayPal Shopping Cart or order via the MAIL-IN Form and indicate the style, size, color selections on your completed form.
  10. UPCOMING EVENT CALENDAR (in each printed newsletter issue) is free to all (members, sponsors, and non-members) and will include the tournament date, tournaments name & location.
