RICHIE CASULA BENEFIT TOURNAMENT

May 7, 2006:  (Market Street Cafe, Charlestown, MD)

The "Richie Casula Benefit Tournament" (A-B Draw) was held at Market Street Cafe in Charlestown, Maryland on Sunday, May 7th.  This tournament was put together in 5 days to raise donations to help Richie and his family with the ongoing expenses due to his battle with cancer, so this was not a scheduled tournament event on the 2006 Market Street Cafe Calendar.  Although this tournament was pulled together on short notice, we had great support and turnout, bringing in 14 Teams and raising $1,400.00 for the Casula family.  Many thanks to all who supported this effort and event!

To raise benefit monies, we had raffles and designated one-half of the Entry and Sponsor Sale toward the benefit.  Gift Certificates were also donated to the raffle which helped.

Kudos to Chip & Bobbi Spangler (Market Street owners) and their staff for the wonderful job hosting this tournament and serving the players with great food and drink.

The tournament consisted of one event:  A-B Draw -- which brought in 28 players/14 Teams (paying 4 places). Winners were:
